Peace Country Fish & Game Association

The Peace Country Fish & Game Association is pleased to offer a Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Silhouette (BPCRS) Program to its membership and to newcomers interested in the sport. Newcomers are invited to attend an introductory shoot with the BPCRS group, free of charge, as an orientation to the program and as an opportunity to experience the sport in action.

Required equipment is a black powder cartridge rifle, appropriate cartridges, and approved cross sticks. Please click here for more information on this type of shooting and approved equipment.

To become a regular participant in Club Matches, PCFGA Membership is required. Membership allows for insurance coverage, and use of the PCFGA sport shooting facility, among other benefits. Participation in the BPCRS Program requires members to followPCFGA Range Rules and National Rifle Association’s NRA Silhouette Rules, to ensure a safe and fair shooting experience.

Program costs are managed through participation fees applied to BPCRS activities. Costs are $5 for Club Matches. Costs for Sanctioned Matches are determined on an event-to-event basis, and fees can be paid upon arrival to the event. These fees primarily allow for the purchase and maintenance of targets and props necessary to facilitate the BPCRS Program.

The 2011 BPCRS Shoot Schedule is posted on the Calendar of Events, along with photos in the Photo Gallery.

Please contact the PCFGA with any questions you might have about our BPCRS Program, or contact Jamie via phone at: 780-624-0066.
