REMINDER: ELECTION & SPECIAL RESOLUTION FEB 25TH
PCFGA would like to announce that an executive election will be held as part of the first General Meeting of 2010 on February 25th.
President, Jamie Halliday, and Secretary, Brenda Smith, provided notice of resignation at the November General Meeting, to allow for continued variety within club administration. Both will continue to serve in their administrative roles up until the election date.
As per the PCFGA By-Laws, any Member in good standing is eligible for an Executive position in the society. You may put your name forward for nomination or nominate another member in person for President (or* Vice President) and Secretary positions at the Feb 25th meeting.
All nominations and votes must be made in person and not by proxy.
*Open position is dependent upon whether the Vice-President chooses to assume role of President or remain as Vice.
Proposed Special Resolution
Members are also encouraged to attend the Feb 25th to vote upon a Special Resolution which proposes to add a dissolution clause to the PCFGA By-Laws. This clause is required in some grant application processes, and will also provide clarity on how PCFGA assets will be allocated should the society ever come to dissolve.

2010 Calendar of events online!
The 2010 Calendar of Events is off to a good start! IDPA and BPCR Program schedules are in, along with dates for tactical training courses, annual club events such as the PCFGA Gun Show, and the General Meeting schedule.
This calendar develops as the year progresses, so be sure to check back!

Time is Coming for 2010 Program Proposals!!
Spring kick off really isn’t that far away and past Program Coordinators and the membership are encouraged to discuss 2010 programming ideas and commitments! A Program Plan/Proposal form can be presented at the March 25th General Meeting!
